Yummy Cinnamon Bars......How to (my first)

On a whim, I decided to make you guys a how-to post this morning while making breakfast. It is not perfect.....but hey.....it's my first time! I don't usually make this dish, but Brad and Teresa were supposed to come down for a visit. Reagan has been sick....haven't been to the doctor yet.....he's fine. He gobbled these babies up quick. He said, "I yike them!" I think you guys will too.

Yummy Cinnamon Bars

This was given to me by a co-worker, Tammy. Ok your first step is to get your ingredients together.

Notice the cinnamon and vanilla is missing! Hey this is my first... When I realized it.. It was too late... Anyway, so now you have the ingredients .. Open 1 can of crescent rolls and spread over the pan.

Oh and don't forget to preheat the oven.....

Then open the cream cheese put it in a bowl and heat it up for about 20-30 seconds.

Then add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla....

Then add the 3/4 cup sugar....

Mix it up until smooth...

Important step... Lick the mixers!!! Yummy!

Then spread yummy goodness all over the crescent roll.... Get it even.... Presentation is important you know!

Again, lick the spatula...mmmmmm!

Then take the 2nd crescent roll and place it on top of what you have so far ...... And in an effort to improve appearance, I decided to slice down the middle and fold pieces out. As shown here:

Now take the stick of butter and melt in microwave.

Add the 1/4 cup
sugar ....

And the 1teaspoon of cinnamon.... I LOVE cinnamon so I add extra..,

Mix this up, but first wash the mixers...

Then mix...

Don't bother licking them this time.... Not really worth it... So just drop them in the sink..

Pour mixture over your masterpiece....

Then bake for approx 20-30mins...

Check the Yummy Bars after 20 mins... These took exactly 25 minutes to bake... Then voilĂ  !!

I must admit this isn't the look I was going for ......ha! But no worries...they looked good on the plate and tasted even better!!

This is what was left after breakfast...

Enjoy!!!

Next up: how to clean the microwave and manicures! ha!
Love you all,
-Rach
